College cultural events are some of the most happening events in the city. The inauguration of Anugoonj 2017 the annual intercollegiate cultural fest organized by GURU GOBIND SINGH INDRAPRASTHA UNIVERSITY— that took place recently had a more cultural and musical touch, as singer Sukhwinder Singh, Dhruv Vishwanath and Advaita were present at the event.
The three-day fest was attended by more than 2,000 students from across 50 colleges in NCR, who participated in more than 30 different contests and competitions. The highlights were events like the Nukkad Natak, Dance, Music, Fine arts, Mr& Ms Anugoonj. There was also an interesting musical event contest called ‘Battle of Bands.’
Other popular events included Nach Baliye and Foot Loose competitions. The student organizers said, “We want to take Anugoonj 2017 to a level where it would be a brand among all colleges in NCR. We have constantly strived over the years to include diverse events so that students from all over can participate and make it a grand success.” The show concluded on a high note, as everybody danced, sang and partied at the DJ Night, which was held after the Battle of the Bands competition.
